BETTER PERFORMANCE - Since the BosScrew™ does not rely on tension to keep the screws tight, lower seating torques can be used to minimize Boss geometry, material, and residual assembly stresses.
IMPROVED SERVICEABILITY - Performance is maintained through multiple service and reuse cycles. BosScrew? thread fastener has been successfully tested over 100 reuse cycles without stripping out or loosing.
BosScrew™ Thread Fastener Application Parameters
The BosScrew™ can be used in bosses as low as 1.5X its diameter in boss thickness depth, e.g. an M2.5 BosScrew™ can be used in a 3.75mm deep hole. The hole diameter should be equivalent to the Major Diameter of the low, non-dimpled threads.
BosScrew™ thread fastener is available in M3.0 and larger sizes.
